Bangalore: The Big, Crowded Beginning
Picture this: I landed in Bangalore with grand plans to chill with friends. Secretly though, my heart was pounding with hope for my career. The city was a beast—big, crowded, and intimidating. I felt like a tiny speck, wondering if I could carve out a space for myself amidst all the chaos.
The Interview
My career adventure took off when I interviewed with Mobisy and scored a Customer Support role in CCD department. Excitement and confusion hit me like a double shot of espresso. As an aeronautical engineer, terms like “Distributor” and “Distributor Manager” sounded as alien as Martian landscapes. I half expected to be handed a space helmet.
The Learning Curve: Knowledge Is Contagious at Bizom
In no time, I realized that at Bizom, knowledge is like a delightful contagion—if you’re willing to learn, it’ll catch you quicker than a cold in monsoon. The more I delved into the FMCG and CPG business, the more I grew. It was like sinking into quicksand but upwards. Yes, upwards. A strange, yet exhilarating experience.
Growing Pains: Feeling at Home
Bizom is like an endless buffet of opportunities, challenges, and learning experiences. Every day, there’s something new to sink your teeth into. The fast-paced environment is like a shot of adrenaline, with everyone pushing to be better than yesterday. It’s the perfect motivation for someone like me, still fresh in my career.
Making an Impact: Helping On-Field Users
The real kicker? The direct impact my work has on improving the lives of our on-field users. Knowing that my efforts help real people out there is immensely satisfying. It adds a deeper purpose to my daily grind and keeps me going, even on the toughest days.
The Thrilling Ride Continues
So, that’s my journey at Bizom so far. From an aeronautical engineer navigating the FMCG business to finding a home in a fast-paced, ever-challenging environment, it’s been one heck of a ride. And I can’t wait to see where this adventure takes me next.
